The activity of elastase- and chymotrypsin-like proteinase in the blood plasma of patients with nonspecific aortoarteritis as a factor of the degree of disease activity, patients with the atherosclerotic lesion of the peripheral arteries and familial hypercholesterolemia. Along with other clinical and biochemical characteristics, the proposed test may be helpful in the differential diagnosis of nonspecific aortoarteritis with the atherosclerotic lesion of the peripheral arteries.
