Levamisole at 2.5, 10.0 and 20.0 mg/kg decreased the frequency of punished drinking in rats (the animals received an electric shock on drinking). Doses of 7.5 mg/kg reduced exploratory activity, and of 0.5 mg/kg decreased social activity, increased locomotion and decreased timidity.
