Two cows died within a few hours of eating Taxus cuspidata trimmings which had been left on their pasture; the following morning a third cow was found dead. In another case a 4-month-old calf was found dead after being let out to graze around a house; twigs and leaves of T. cuspidata were present in its rumen. PM examinations revealed no lesions.
