Coronary heart disease patients with ischemia of the lower extremities were studied to evaluate the status of the coronary bed and vessels of the lower extremities and to choose correct strategy for the tretment of these patients. One hundred 37- to 65-yr-old men were examined. The results of clinical and noninvasive examination methods were described. The problem of the treatment of patients with atherosclerotic lesions of coronary arteries and main arteries of the extremities requires special attention from internists and angiosurgeons. The strategy of the treatment is determined by the severity of sclerotic lesions.
