Serum antibodies to B group arboviruses in apparently healthy persons of several districts in Romania

Some data are reported on the presence of IIAI antibodies to several B group arboviruses in apparently healthy persons with various occupations, of 4 Romanian districts (Ilfov, Ialomita, Braila, Buzau). Among the 1202 subjects investigated, antibodies to tick-borne encephalitis, West Nile and Ntaya antigens were detected, in a percentage of 0.6 %, 0.7% and 8.9 %, respectively. The percentage of positive reactions proved to be different among the various districts.
