The cases is reported of a patient exposed to Chloramine T (CT) who complained of rhinorrhea and fits of asthmalike dyspnea when using this substance. A diagnosis of allergic bronchial asthmas was made after a specific bronchial provocation tests with demonstration of CT-specific IgE antibodies with the RAST method. The importance is stressed of using traditional diagnostic parameters (challenging test and specific TPB), which can be together with detrmination of specific IgE in vitro.
