This publication constitutes a report of the Expert Group Meeting on integrated rural development, held in Bangkok in December 1974. It consists of three parts. Part 1 contains the theme paper entitled: Some major issues, and also includes preliminary written responses of the participants to these issues. Part 2 reports on the discussions at the meeting while in Part 3 a design is presented for a proposed study by the Asian Institute for evolving guidelines for investment in integrated rural development. A list of participants attending the meeting is included.
