Effective methods were developed for the drug prophylaxis of congestive cardiac insufficiency in patients with chronic obstructive bronchitis. The use of corvaton retard in the prophylaxis of congested cardiac insufficiency in chronic obstructive bronchitis complicated by cor pulmonale made it possible to reduce pressure in the pulmonary artery and total peripheral vascular resistance, which has a favorable effect on the patient's condition. The anti-relapse measures with the use of the prolonged vasodilator (corvaton retard) in these patients made it possible to stabilize clinico-hemodynamic indices. They increased the effectiveness of the dispensarization of these patients.
