Survey of 562 neurectomies of the Vidian nerve performed in 10 years, following Prades' technique. On the whole were included rhinitis vasomotorica, recurrent polyposis of the nose as well as facial algias of vascular origin. The end results were considered in relation with the clinical pictures, with pathologic examination of the mucous membrane of the nose and the follow-up of the surgery. All these data permitted the authors to establish the present indications for surgery of the Vidian nerve.
