The physicochemical and biological investigations of the solution of chemically modified globin from erythrocytes of cattle blood have shown that this globin practically lacks antigenic properties, it is biologically compatible and possesses the capacity for restoring the main parameters of systemic hemodynamics after hemorrhage. The data obtained have allowed a conclusion to be made that chemically modified globin from cattle blood could be considered as a potential protein and hemodynamic component of a combined polyfunctional blood substitute.
