The capacity of interferon-insensitive cells to prevent the development of an antiviral condition

The problem of the existence of factors of the interferon action inhibitor type, which affect the development of the antiviral state in interferon-treated cells was studied, as was the possible masking of the development of the antiviral state in interferon-resistant cells due to these factors. Presumably, the inhibitory factor of the antiviral state of interferon-sensitive cells may be induced during cocultivation with interferon-resistant murine cells or it is a signal membrane factor. Presumably, in addition to the factor responsible for the induction of the antiviral state in the adjacent cells, there is a factor responsible for the inhibition of the antiviral state.
