This synthesis was prepared as part of the second phase of the joint project carried out between 2002 and 2003 between the FAO and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific aimed to transform national water visions in Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar to action. It describes how the processes of formulating national water visions were carried out, discusses the findings and recommendations derived from these efforts, and the possible strategies for further strengthening related regional efforts.
