The mixture of T. vaginalis and S. faecalis was incubated in sterile saline solution for 40 min. at 37.degree. C. Intensive phagocytosis of baceria was observed. An attempt was made to characterise successive stages of this process, but variability of forms obtained did not allow a straightforward description. It seems that this type of phagocytosis shows many variants.
