The av. production of the whole test flock during the 1950. 51 trials of 205. 10 eggs per bird was an all-time record for these tests in Britain. The hen housed average was 197-28 eggs per bird, and mortality 9. 11 %. The high production of the 1583" R. I. R. entries has greatly contributed to the good results obtained. The av. production of R. I. R. s was 215. 78 eggs per bird and mortality was 7. 96% G.
