Vincristine treatment alone does not evoke estimable histological damage in solid Ehrlich carcinoma. However, when combined with fractionated local X-irradiation it causes more severe damage than the irradiation alone, consequently vincristine has a synergistic effect in radiation therapy. Comparing the effects of irradiation of the same total dose fractionated differently and combined with vincristine, one cannot find any characteristic and consequent histological differences.
