Biometrical comparison of concrete floras was performed, investigating distinctions of general resemblance of specific composition and structure of leading families. The results question the extension of the Ilmen floristic district's boundary to the northwest and southeast and establish a new floristic district near Onega lake, from the Vepsov floristic district.
