A case of clonorchis infection in Singapore--clinical and pathological features

Clonorchis sinensis infection in a man in Singapore is reported. Treatment with 500 mg. Chloroquine diphosphate daily for 14 days failed to reduce the number of eggs in the stool. The patient, who had initially presented with cardiac failure, died and postmortem examination revealed adult C. sinensis in the bile-ducts.
