The activity of leukocytic lysosomal enzymes may be effectively introduced as a diagnostic criterion to differentiate acute leukemia variants, to identify patients with potential resistance to polychemotherapy, to prognosticate the recurrence in remission thus providing adequate terms for earlier antirelapse treatment.
