20 patients with different alcoholic liver diseases were divided into two groups of 10 patients each. One group was treated with polyunsaturated phosphatidylcholine (EPL) + vitamin B complex p.o.; the other was treated with a standard therapy with group-B vitamins, folic acid, vitamin C and vitamin K. The biochemcial parameters showed the greater efficacy of EPL + vitamin B complex compared with the standared therapy.
