Equation for the growth of Halobacterium halobium

Effect of different wavelengths and the intensities of light on the rate of growth of H. halobium has been studied. Increase in growth rate is found with the increase of light intensity and is maximum between 540 and 610 nm wavelength. An exponential type of equation has been shown to represent the kinetic data in both lag phase and log phase.
