In a limited prospective study 84 pre-bioptic women were interviewed and tested psychologically. Classification of the respective groups of cancer-negative as well as cancer-positive in both uterus and breast resulted. Psychologic assessment was made with regard to differences between the 4 sub-groups as to personality structure (one's self-image) and related life-events. The question was ascertained to be negative. The results showed further that all women--regardless of the later diagnosis--showed inconspicuous differences in their self-image. Included in this study is the assessment of the basic emotional pattern and given troubling life events.
