Uterine lipoma is an uncommon tumour of the post-menopausal woman. The ultrasound and computed tomographic appearances are described. As this tumour may simulate benign cystic teratoma of the ovary, features are described which distinguish these, including positive confirmation of location within the uterus and absence of the typical dermoid plug.
