Insufficiency was diagnosed in a 6-year-old cat by means of Thorn's eosinophilia test and the corticotrophin stimulation test. The cat responded temporarily to treatment with cortisone and prednisolone, but became ill again after a few weeks and died. PM examination revealed calcinosis of the cerebral dura and of both adrenal glands.
