Blood plasma of donors orally immunized with an enterobacterial vaccine prepared from heat-inactivated Salmonella minnesota Re-mutant cells, decreased the seeding rate of Escherichia coli NE 321 bacteria in the blood of intraperitoneally challenged mice. The donors blood plasma demonstrated high protective properties in mice injected intracranially with Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA-103, Proteus vulgaris 010 and Proteus mirabilis 08; blood plasma with high antibody titres to chemotype Re glycolipid possessed the highest protective activity. The immune plasma sorption by the vaccine strain bacteria resulted in the Re-antibody titre drop and loss of the protective properties.
