Clinical manifestations of brucellosis have been studied in 407 patients suffering from the acute and subacute form of the disease. A mild and moderately severe course predominated and the period of fever was shortened. Subacute brucellosis is characterized by the predominant affection of the bone and joint system. Changed, more mild manifestations of brucellosis are one of the causes of the erroneous diagnosis.
