Selected studies are reviewed describing the individual effects and interactions of caloric intake, dietary fat, and protein in experimental carcinogenesis of the breast, colon, and pancreas in animals. Topics include: the effects of dietary fat, protein, and energy intake on breast cancer risk; the effects of dietary fat, protein, and caloric intake on colon cancer risk; and the effects of macronutrients on pancreatic cancer in animal models.
