The Authors describe two cases of persistent diffuse lymphoadenopathy in young drug addicts. Humoral, serological and immunologic findings are underlined and the histologic patterns of the lymphnodes biopsies described. The clinic, etiopathogenetic and epidemiologic features are then briefly discussed; the syndrome of persistent diffuse lymphoadenopathy is a phenomenon related to the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
