The authors point out the current possibilities in the study of gastro-esophageal reflux and reflux esophagitis, that are offered by radiologic diagnostics. On the basis of their experience and information obtained from texts they estimate and evaluate the different techniques of the exam, dwelling particularly upon the double contrast method that is, even if with some limitations, the better way for an accurate study and for the correct interpretation of the data.
