Nettle-shaped pityriasis versicolor

A phenomenon that is present in the course of putyriasis versicolor, are lesions becoming reactive, that is to say, become nettle shaped erythematous, infiltrate, accompanied by pruritus, which occurs diagnosed and suspect patients reported. Clinical and histological characteristics are pointed out and a pathogenic mechanism is suggested. Literature is reviewed and it is demonstrated that, although in pityriasis versicolor several authors have pointed out signs of reaction within lesions, up to now nettle shaped phenomenon, such as it is, had not been described clearly enough.
