Clinical study of 60 coronary angiography cases

Coronary angiography was performed in 60 cases. 55 of them were clinically diagnosed as CHD, 3 suspected CHD and 2 suspected coronary arteriovenous fistula. The success rate of selective coronary angiography was 50/55 (91.6%) in CHD. Of these 50 cases, 32 showed fixed narrowing of the coronary arteries and 2 coronary artery spasm. Of 25 of the 34 cases with effort angina 15 were of stable type and 10 accelerated type. The remaining 9 cases were of spontaneous angina. Coronary artery fixed narrowing of varying degrees (50-100%) was found in these cases. The clinical significance of coronary angiography and ECG findings and the prevention and treatment of serious side-effects during the procedure are discussed.
