Data were presented on changes in O2 partial pressure in the tissues of distal parts of ischemized extremeties of patients with obliterating diseases exposed to hyperbaric oxygenation. O2 partial pressure depended not only on the state of regional blood flow, but on central circulation, as well. Increased parameters of central and regional circulation were the best indicators of improved O2 supply of the tissues after hyperbaric oxygenation. In the absence of distinct changes in initially high and normal cardial ejaculation, i.e. during hyperbaric oxygenation of patients with normal central hemodynamics, O2 partial pressure increased due to improved regional blood flow. The absence of marked changes in initially low cardiac ejection, regardless of changes in regional blood flow, inhibited efficient O2 supply to the tissues of ischemized extremeties during hyperbaric oxygenation. Only a reduction in cardiac ejaculation that caused circulation to become hypokinetic had a negative effect on changes in O2 partial pressure in the tissues.
