Radiotelemetry and histomorphological examination of the gastric mucosa and clinical follow-up of 105 patients with allergic dermatoses have revealed common disorders of gastric acid secretion and latent endogenic gastritis of various degree of severity. Corrective treatment rather rapidly improved the clinical picture of a skin disease. The improvement usually correlates with normalization of gastric acid secretion. It has been concluded that in compiling the scheme of treatment of patients with allergic dermatoses it is necessary to consult a specialist in internal diseases.
