In different species of experimental animals (mice, rats, cats, dogs) the Soviet drug pyrazidole is a slightly toxic drug. Prolonged, repeated administration of pyrazidole does not exert any damaging action on the vitally important organs and systems of the body. Pyrazidole is less toxic than imipramine.
