The potential interaction between foods, drugs, and other xenobiotics is of increasing concern to health scientists. The biological activity of any one of these materials may be altered by the presence of the others. The similarities between the biological processes involved in the ultimate fate of foods, drugs, and other xenobiotics allow a logical approach to the understanding of these interactions. (Author)
