Histopathological examination of bioptic material in spinal muscle atrophies showed coinciding changes of myogenic nature. These dystrophic processes involving both the muscle mass and intersticium, and slightly alterating the vascular wall as well as manifest the basic disease of the nervous system reflected in neurotrophic changes in the muscle mass.
