The assessment of the thermal comfort of clothing is possible if one orientates by the heat balance of the organism. For this reason, it is necessary to take the body temperature. In the present work it has been examined whether the temperature of the interior of the body in dressing-hygienical tests can be measured in the external auditory meatus or in the rectum. While the rectal measurement proved to be reliable and expressive, the measurement in the external auditory meatus cannot be recommended.
