The digital periflux blood flow (PBF) of diabetic patients was measured using Periflux Laser Doppler Flowmeter (PLDF). Significant correlations between PBF and the severity of diabetic retinopathy, nephropathy and neuropathy were found. Thus, the determination of digital PBF of diabetic patients may become a new method for evaluating diabetic complications.
