A list of inbred strains of mice with their origins and characteristics, a table of the strain distribution of alleles at polymorphic loci, and a list of standard subline designations are given. The listing was prepared for the International Committee on Standardized Genetic Nomenclature for mice, and contains 233 entries vs. 299 in the previous one.
