Treatment of ear mange in rabbits with ivermectin

In 90 rabbits on three farms naturally infected with Psoroptes cuniculi, a single subcutaneous injection of 0.2 or 0.4 mg ivermectin per kg body weight resulted in a clinical cure, but the mites were not completely eliminated. Recommended treatment was two injections at 0.4 mg/kg body weight, 4-6 days apart.
