Pathological changes in the stomach and duodenum have been studied in 210 patients with chronic diseases of the kidneys when renal function decreased. Gastric and duodenal disorders may develop at the early stages of renal diseases and may later transform in the atrophic forms. Hemodialysis is often attended with acute duodenal ulcers.
