Cyclophosphamide, fluorouracil and colchicine were investigated for their influence on wound healing in albino rats. The drugs were administered in doses comparable to clinically recommended single, high, daily dose and tensile strength of 10 day old wounds was estimated to assess wound healing. All the 3 drugs significantly (P < 0.001) decreased the tensile strength. Such an influence in clinical situations should be looked for. [Implications with respect to surgery is humans during antineoplastic therapy with these agents were presented.].
