This paper describes the review of 38 patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm: for 17 of them intervention was performed before the rupture and 21 were operated in emergency. Operative mortality is very high for ruptured aneurysm. Thus elective aortic grafting is the treatment of choice when the diagnosi is made. The age of the patients and the size of the aneurysm are not limitations for the surgical approach.
