Indicators of cellular immunity in donors of antistaphylococcal plasma

To study the mechanisms of the immune response to staphylococcal anatoxin during production of hyperimmune plasma the cellular immunity was investigated in 144 donors. It was found that the anatoxin injected in doses of 1.0-1.0-2.0 ml with an interval of 7 days resulted in a significant increase of T- and B-lymphocytes that attested to the immunostimulant effect of the antigen. It is concluded that the determination of the T- and B-rosette forming cell levels can be used for the assessment of the immunization efficacy.
