A technique using human fibrin in polyacrylamide gel is described, by which plasminogen activators were identified in the saliva of Rhapactor biparticeps, a predator of Dermaptera under the bark of Eucalyptus roadside and forest trees in Tunisia. The results are discussed in relation to classical methods of studying fibrinolysis.
