Solutions of penicillin G and streptomycin sulfate were incorporated at a final conc. of 20 ug1 in the liquid test medium prepared from plant material or expressed juice. Of c. 150 plant spp. screened only Curcuma zedoaria and a Brassica sp. contained materials active against both Trichophyton rubrum and Aspergillus niger.
