Uvea-supported intraocular lenses include iris-supported, iris-fixed, sulcus-supported, sulcus-fixed, chamber angle-supported and chamber angle-fixed lenses. Only "in-the-bag" lenses are true caspular fixed and supported lenses, presenting fewer complications and are recommended whenever possible.
