I-Antigen on erythrocytes of patients with hypoplastic anemia

The system of I- and i-antigens was characterized on the basis of the recent literature data. The results are presented of the investigation of 27 patients with varying blood diseases with the use of anti-i serum prepared for the detection of i-antigens on the red cells. Two cases of hypoplastic anemia with the i-antigen on the red cell were analyzed.
