A comparison of 59 F1 and 8 backcross (superscript 3/4 Limousin) femalefemale from crossing between Limousin and Hungarian Simmental cattle revealed significant differences only in the variances of internal pelvic measurements. Variances were significantly greater in the backcross than the F1 generation, except for the median diameter of the pelvis.
