The anatomy and histology of the reproductive system of the muricid gastropod, T. bufo, are described. Histochemical tests showed the presence of mucoprotein and glycolipids in the testicular secretions and a rich carbohydrate component, with variable amounts of protein, in the prostatic secretions.
