Occurrence of Mima and Herellea species in clinical specimens from various animals

Herellea species were isolated from a number of animal species on 70 occasions and Mima species on 194 occasions over a 3-year period. Herellea was isolated in pure culture from the blood of 13 sick dogs, and Mima was isolated in pure culture from 17 equine and four bovine aborted foetuses.
